Ensenada's Finest
I noticed this lovely vehicle on my recent trip to Mexico. I suspect the double wing design was not developed in a wind tunnel. A tunnel analysis would've shown more lift/drag ratio gains could be achieved by reducing the ride height.
Update: Re: Ride height. I failed, in my earlier comments, to allow for the fact that Ensenada is in Baja California where dirt roads abound. Perhaps the ride height is a necessary feature for the local environment. My apologies to the...uh...designer. Also, with dirt roads in mind, it might have been more appropriate to start with a Plymouth Duster rather than a Dodge Dart.
